van bolderen family

Carl van Bolderen, owner of van Grow Masterpiece Lawns is the son of a farmer from Grussen, Holland, Henry van Bolderen. After surviving WWII, Henry attended horticulture school and the family legacy and passion for horticulture was born. Henry and his wife, Elisabeth, immigrated to Ontario, Canada in an area known for its rich soil. The youngest of six, Carl was introduced to all aspects of the fruit and vegetable business at a very young age and adopted his father’s passion for all things green and growing.

As a teen, Carl worked for four years at Hollandia Nurseries and Landscaping before attending college where he earned his degrees in Economics and Commerce. In 1988 Carl met his American born wife Teri and they now have two children, Kerstin and Joe. In 1999 Carl and Teri moved their family to the US where Teri is a holistic health practitioner in Medina.

As a family business dedicated to giving their clients healthy lawns using organic based products, they have discovered a growing population of others who are environmentally conscious while desiring a lush green lawn.
